Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign up — with email and password or through Google — we store your email address and basic profile details (such as your name) to identify your account.

Content you add. Place listings, reviews, photos, reports and saved places are linked to your account so you can manage them.

Location. If you tap "My location", your browser shares your approximate location with us so we can centre the map and sort places by distance. We use it only in your browser session and don't store a history of where you've been.

Usage data. We collect basic technical information (pages visited, errors, device/browser type) to keep the service running and improve it.

• Moderate listings, reviews and reports to keep Wag Map safe
• Respond to support requests and fix problems

We don't sell your personal information to anyone.

Wag Map uses Google Maps to display the map and look up addresses — your use of the map is subject to Google's own privacy policy. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email with us as described above.

Our hosting and database providers process data on our behalf to run the service. They may process data outside the UK/EEA, with appropriate safeguards in place.

You can edit or delete your own listings and reviews at any time, and remove saved places from your Saved page. You can sign out at any time from the header menu.

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To make a request — or to ask us to delete your account entirely — contact us at hello@wagmap.co.uk.

We keep your account information while your account is active. Content you delete is removed from public view immediately and from backups within a reasonable period. We use industry-standard security measures, but no service is 100% secure.

If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
